In Indian cooking the Fish is always marinated with lemon to bring a tang to the curry. This month's Fish Curry is by Jikos and Mwikos.

 

 

Fish Curry

Ingredients:

5 tsp Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Coriander Seeds

5 to 6 Cloves

2 Cinnamon Sticks

4-5 tbsp. Sunflower Oil

2 Red Onions Finely Chopped

3 Green Chillies Finley Chopped

1inch Fresh Ginger Finely Chopped

1inch Fresh Ginger Cut into long strips for Garnish

75gms freshly chopped Coriander

25gms freshly chopped Coriander for Garnish

8 Cloves of Garlic finely chopped

1tsp Chilli Powder

1tsp Turmeric

5tsp Salt

5 tbsp Dhana Jeera Powder (Coriander and Cumin Powder)

400gms Tomato Puree

650gms Cod Fillets cut into large Chunks (you can use any white fish of your choice)

1 Lemon
